The brain and mind are two of the most understudied areas in science yet they are providing some of the most important breakthroughs in science.

I apply the state of the art in neuroscience to manage real life situations.

Neuroscience

State of the Art

When talking about persuasion and conflict we are dealing with humans, and that makes influence, persuasion and seduction an art.

Let me share you what the most important Classics have said. Past geniuses have taught us underlying premises that still apply today.

Theory

The Classics

As an art, no one can be an perfect speaker, negotiator or manager, but practice allows you to be able to become a Master.

With several exercises and practices, you will be more comfortable and aware in your next negotiation, debate or conflict.

Critical Thinking Training

What?

Developing critical thinking skills is as important as developing technical skills and I want to help organizations develop an environment of critical thinking.

Problems organizations face

Why?

Discussions and debates take more time than they should when members and employees are conflict-adverse or when rules for debates and discussions are not the best.

Bad discussions lead to misjudgements, strategic mistakes and rushed -or late- decisions.

Painful discussions

Organizations need to analyse better

Organizations that do not welcome debate discard good ideas and choose bad ones without critical analysis. This means losing to the competition and having unnecessary conflict.

Companies need to be foster an organizational culture that embraces conflict and dissent.

Lack of trust

Employees need to be confident

Some organizations might have the most technically apt or competent members but if they do constantly engage on critical thinking exercises. they will have lower self-esteem.

Low self-esteem and self-confidence can be avoided if members practice critical thinking exercises.

Lack of confidence

Solutions

How?

Training

Individual lectures,or two/three-day courses.

A series of interactive workshops for smaller groups and lectures for larger groups that deal specifically with the Principles of Critical Thinking, Persuasion, Asking the right questions, Framing conversations, and Conflict management methods.

Consultancy

Tailor-made solutions, training and follow-up

Each organization is different and as such they require different solutions related to Human Resource Development, Conflict Management Strategies, Strategic Decision-Making and Team-building experiences.

Conflict Resolution

Conflict analysis, mediation and arbitration

Different conflicts require different Conflict Management strategies and tactics. Variables include: scope, clearness and magnitude of conflict, and the number or natures of the parties involved.

Outcomes

  • Less improvising on discussions
  • Less time lost in discussions
  • Less affective conflict and more substantive conflict
  • Less compounding and escalation of conflict
  • More intelligent employees
  • More confident and reasonable employees
  • More assertive decisions and less errors
  • More strategic alignment

When?

Due to agenda constraints I am only able to take a limited number of projects per year so I have set up an application process. Please do not be discouraged from applying however, as I am interested in projects that are diverse in scope, nature and place.
